Mobile Notary · Serving Atglen, PA
Atglen is a small borough at Chester County’s far western edge, a quiet crossroads on Route 41 where the county gives way to Lancaster’s farm country. The town grew up with the railroad: the massive stone-arched Enola Low Grade line was blasted through here in the early 1900s, and its rail bed is now the Enola Low Grade Trail, drawing walkers and cyclists along the Octoraro. The surrounding hills are a working patchwork of dairy farms and Amish and Mennonite homesteads.
Out this far west, the nearest notary is usually a real drive away, and that’s the entire point of a mobile one. I come to your farmhouse, home, or business for deeds, agricultural and equipment paperwork, vehicle titles and bills of sale, powers of attorney, and affidavits. Atglen is one of my longer runs, so I confirm the flat travel fee up front before heading out, and evenings and weekends are open around farm schedules.
Please have a valid government-issued photo ID ready, and leave documents unsigned until we meet. All notarial acts are performed personally by Christopher J Abt, Pennsylvania notary public, Commission #1470081.
