A notarial act in Pennsylvania costs $5.00, with $2.00 for each additional name in the same certificate and $3.00 per page to note a protest. Those are maximum fees set by the Commonwealth, identical for every notary in the state. Because I'm mobile, a flat travel & convenience fee starting at $45 is added on top — quoted before I set out, never a surprise at the table.
Set by the Commonwealth under 4 Pa. Code § 167.3 and published by the Pennsylvania Department of State. No notary in Pennsylvania may charge more than these amounts for the act itself.

From $45, flat within about 15 miles of my base in West Grove, and quoted by distance and time beyond that. This is a separate, non-statutory charge for coming to you — it is additional to, never a substitute for, the statutory fee above. You get the number before I travel, and § 167.3(c) requires me to hand you an itemized receipt showing both lines separately.
